Volunteer FAQs
ART ON THE SQUARE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. YOUR SERVICES ARE NEEDED REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER.
CHECK-IN: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled shift. Volunteers must check-in at Williams & Caponi Law Firm located at 30 East Main Street, catty-corner from the Lincoln Theater.
CLOTHING: We ask all volunteers to wear black bottoms (pants/capris/shorts – NO SHORT SHORTS), and a white top. We request this so all volunteers are dressed the same and are easily identifiable by patrons and artists. When you check-in you will be given an apron and a name badge to wear. BOTH WILL NEED TO BE RETURNED AFTER YOUR SHIFT. PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. Please consider weather conditions: Sunscreen if it’s sunny and layers if it’s chilly.
Please bring your own mask. Antiseptic gel, vinyl gloves and temperature checks will be available throughout the show area.
PARKING: There are numerous parking lots around the Square that offer free parking all weekend long. The County Courthouse Parking garage is located on First Street. There are also numerous lots available behind the Lincoln Theater, Ben Franklin, and other lots.
CHECK OUT: When your shift is over, you MUST return to Williams & Caponi Law Firm and return your apron and name badge. This is very important. We only have aprons for the number of volunteers per shift.
We launder the aprons overnight.
STUDENTS completing community service hours, please bring your forms to the Command Center to be
filled out & signed after your shift.
If you have any further questions, please contact
